A Harvard study showed that only 10% of the population are Natural learners, those who seek out the smarter ways to do things in life. That 10% are also at the top of their game. NEED A GPS FOR THE WALLET ? What kind of advice did your Broke(r) give you last year? "All of what you read below is true as I listened to what CEO Space told me last year and I removed 80% of my capital from the stock market and avoided Mutual Funds. I now have lost very little in the one stock I continued to hold and lost none of the capital I removed from the market last year. CEO Space easily saved me over one hundred thousand dollars in potential losses. I am now poised to used the capital I saved to purchase bargains I now see in the market. The Holy Grail |

Said to be the Christian chalice that holds magic powers. The search for the grail has been on for thousands of years. Not unlike the “Lucky” rabbits foot or the “Lucky” horseshoe. Trinkets and things holding magic powers have enticed us for eternity. The “luck” or “power” is truly there. But not in the Grail or medallion or trinket we think it is. The real “Grail” is in our minds. The power to create something from just a thought is real and it happens every day. The power to take a problem (big or small) and turn it into an opportunity lies within our minds, not in a trinket. If our minds make over 8 billion calculations subconsciously per second just to keep us from falling over, the processor in our heads can make many more calculations that can create products that solve today’s problems, cures for diseases, and take our physical and unlimited talents to Gold Medals against all odds. |

Encouragement |

We are definitely a product of our environment and how we were encouraged in life. Maya Angelou said "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." As we go along in life it is our encouraging words and not the negative words given to friends and family that make a difference. Rich DeVos will tell you that more than being a good business person throughout his life, he was always trying to be the best of cheerleaders. This ability to lift the spirit in encouragement was one of the most important aspects of his success in business and life. As a lifelong cheerleader and encourager, Rich often says; "If you have a dream, give it a chance to happen." Become Tempered by the Fire and the heat |

A couple of years ago as I was flying home to Michigan from a CEO Space business forum in Los Angeles, I noticed while looking out my window from the airplane that there seemed to be a lot of fires in the farmlands of the Midwest. I later bumped into an article that explained how in the Middle Western states of our great country, farmers set large fields of land on fire every three or four years. These enormous, controlled fires burn the excess waste from the land and allow the soil to replenish with nutrients from the rain and atmosphere. This process re-establishes the growing potential of the property and helps maximize the farmer's long term yield.
But something interesting happens in the process. When the land, still hot from the blaze, is touched by the right atmospheric conditions, and then a cool wind blows through the area, the combination creates a funnel cloud effect. One can actually see a "tornado" moving along through the field, oblivious to any external weather conditions and surrounding activity. The tornado never leaves the field, but may sweep back and forth across it, stirring the dirt and ash as it goes. Ultimately, as the land cools, the tornado dies.
Sometimes, it seems that we become a pointless flurry of activity, moving from here to there, stirring activities while accomplishing what seems to be very little. |
